AKA Rittenhouse Square unveils new amenities, enhancements

AKA Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia unveiled new leisure, entertainment, business and wellness amenities, as well as upgrades to the hotel residences. The property’s amenities are expected to be completed later this summer.

Nicholas Cardone, the VP of design at the AKA Collection, led the enhancements.

Upon completion, the property’s new amenities will include a private library curated by architect Stephan Potts that will contain more than 1,000 architecture and design books. The library will have furniture designed by Cardone.

The new amenities will also include a seven-seat cinema, which will have curated programming.

AKA Rittenhouse Square will also have a new 15-seat private conference room, a beauty salon and a fitness center furnished with Technogym equipment.

Along with the new amenities, AKA Rittenhouse Square introduced enhancements to its interior design through upgrades to its residences. Design additions include a newly unveiled second-floor penthouse suite. This lower-level penthouse has a tree-lined view of Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square Park. The new penthouse reflects Cardone’s approach to contemporary design with the use of natural materials.
