Wimmer Communities and Crescent Hotels & Resorts have expanded their decades-long partnership with the opening of a new dual-branded property, The Marriott Center, in Brookfield, Wisc.’s Poplar Creek Town Center. The Marriott Center comprises the all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield at Poplar Creek and Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield at Poplar Creek, owned and developed by Wimmer Communities and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. This latest collaboration between the two companies is part of an ongoing pipeline of joining projects.
The Marriott Center is close to downtown Milwaukee and nearby attractions, including The Corners of Brookfield. This property has a Bistro+ Pub & Grill, 24/7 fitness center, pool, rooftop patio with a fire pit and additional outdoor gathering places with lawn games and grills. The hotel's covered parking allows guests and their vehicles to stay protected from inclement weather, providing an added convenience. The Residence Inn has 104 guestrooms, each with a kitchen and workspaces. The Courtyard has 121 guestrooms equipped with ergonomic work areas and flexible spaces.
The Poplar Creek Town Center is a multi-use development with walkable, integrated open-air spaces. Retail, services and dining options are available across the ground-level Shops of Poplar Creek, the adjoining Town Center and the Gateway building. Additionally, the development has architecturally diverse residential buildings known as The Poplar Creek Club.

The Town of Brookfield was selected as the location for Poplar Creek Town Center due to its proximity to major roadways and ample space to accommodate a large-scale project. The development preserves local woods and wetlands, as well as the creation of new park areas and playgrounds, pedestrian bridges and trails. The development integrates with surrounding infrastructure and is close to to various public transit options.
