Las Vegas to get first cannabis-friendly hotel

The former Artisan Hotel Boutique in Las Vegas is getting a new look, a new name and a new position as the first hotel in the city to allow cannabis usage on property. When it emerges from its renovation, the newly renamed 64-room Lexi will be part of the Elevations Hotels & Resorts brand. The hotel will have updated guestrooms and suites including an entire floor that will be designated cannabis-friendly. Each room on the fourth floor will have a RestorAir filtration system that uses advanced oxidation cell technology.

The Lexi will also have a new Cajun-inspired steakhouse concept helmed by Executive Chef Jordan Savell, a newly designed Artisan Bar & Lounge, The Lexi Pool (a European-style pool experience), and the reimagined Chapel Room. Additionally, The Lexi will have a new grand lobby that can host live music and intimate entertainment concepts. The space will have “towering” ceilings, an indoor water feature and a new walk-up cafe.

Additionally, The Lexi will offer a membership initiative that is part of Elevation Hotels & Resorts proprietary program, Elevations Nation. Members will receive invitations to inclusive events and well-being activities.

Now owned by Elevations Hotels & Resorts, The Lexi is being updated by Elevations President and CEO, Alex Rizk. Having already cultivated the cannabis-forward hospitality experience with his first undertaking, The Clarendon Hotel in Phoenix, Rizk expects The Lexi to be the flagship property of his hospitality group.

“The Lexi allows the Elevations Hotels & Resorts brand to truly showcase our commitment to creating a new type of hotel concept that is defined not only by our acceptance and normalization of cannabis in the hospitality space, but also by our dedication to reclaim storied properties and transform them for the modern-day travelers,” Rizk said in a statement. “With The Lexi, our goal is to provide guests with something truly new in Las Vegas. We plan to personalize the guest experience through our unique Elevations Nation membership clubs, as well as through our distinctive on-property programming, and via partnerships within the community.”

The non-gaming hotel is located close to the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Arts District.
