Braemar Hotels & Resorts is set to rebrand the Mr. C Beverly Hills in Los Angeles to the Cameo Beverly Hills. Following extensive renovations, the hotel will join Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts soft brand. Cameo Beverly Hills is now available on the Hilton website and the renovations are expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
The conversion of the hotel, which was built in 1965, will reflect its history and location in West Los Angeles near Rodeo Drive. The company is planning to spend approximately $25 million on the renovation. The renovation will update the guestrooms, guest bathrooms, restaurant, lobby, pool, fitness area and meeting spaces.
Remington will continue to manage the property after the conversion under a management agreement.
"The transformation of this iconic hotel fills a desirable niche in the Beverly Hills lodging market," Braemar's President and CEO Richard Stockton said in a statement. "We look forward to realizing enhanced financial performance from this property as a result of our significant investment and new partnership with Hilton."
