How the Fess Parker became the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort

The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort has reopened following a complete renovation and renaming. Los Angeles-based Atwater Inc. Studio, was involved in the remodel of the property formerly known as the Fess Parker, A DoubleTree by Hilton Resort.

Following its renovation, the modernized property pays homage to the resort’s history, location and the culture of Santa Barbara.

The hotel remains managed by Hilton and is jointly owned by Park Hotels & Resorts along with the Fess Parker family.

All 360 guestrooms were remodeled and now have ocean- and sky-blue tones, driftwood-inspired interiors, private balconies or patios.

The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort has more than 40,000 square feet of flexible space—the largest amount of meeting and event space in the region—ranging from newly renovated indoor/outdoor venues and outdoor locations. The semi-enclosed Plaza Del Sol has 180-degree views of the ocean and a connecting rotunda, while the grand ballroom and foyer can host up to 600 guests.

For dining, the property has The Roundhouse, Rodney’s Grill, The Set and the poolside Terraza Del Mar.

Amenities include the Spa del Mar, a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, and a fitness center with ocean views. The property also has a business center, gift shop and car rental desk.

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is located near downtown Santa Barbara and is accessible to Santa Barbara Airport and the Santa Barbara Amtrak Station via shuttle service.
