April’s growth in extended-stay hotel occupancy and room revenues were the largest monthly increases since January 2023 and March 2023 respectively, according to the recent report from the Highland Group. Average room rates rose for the third consecutive month in April and the segment’s 3.9 percent RevPAR increase was the greatest since May 2023.
“The acceleration of all extended-stay hotel performance metrics over the last three months is a solid basis for widespread positive change in RevPAR in 2026," Mark Skinner, partner at The Highland Group, said in a statement.
