U.S. weekly hotel results: July 5-11

The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data.

For the week of July 5-11 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

  • Occupancy: 67.6 percent (+0.7 percent)
  • Average daily rate: $166.04 (+4.5 percent)
  • Revenue per available room: $112.18 (+5.2 percent)

Top Markets

Among CoStar’s top 25 markets, Miami saw the highest increases in ADR (+37.6 percent to $232.47) and RevPAR (+38.0 percent to $157.00) thanks to the World Cup quarterfinal match between England and Norway on July 11.

Detroit reported the largest occupancy gain (+9.3 percent to 70.2 percent).

Helped by multiple events, including the WFG Convention and the World Series of Poker Main Event, Las Vegas registered the second-highest jump in RevPAR (+23.9 percent to $149.80).

Boston, host of the World Cup quarterfinal between France and Morocco on July 9, posted the second-largest ADR increase (+21.8 percent to $279.21).
