U.S. weekly hotel results: June 21-27

The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data.

For the week of June 21-27 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

  • Occupancy: 72.2 percent (+0.4 percent)
  • Average daily rate: $178.82 (+9.2 percent)
  • Revenue per available room: $129.09 (+9.6 percent)

Top Markets

Among CoStar’s top 25 markets, Miami saw the highest increases in ADR (+51.1 percent to $267.87) and RevPAR (+51.6 percent to $196.87) with a lift from three World Cup matches. The market’s occupancy stayed relatively flat (+0.3 percent to 73.5 percent).

San Diego, which hosted the 2026 BIO International Convention, reported the largest jump in occupancy (+13.1 percent to 91.9 percent).

San Francisco, host of two World Cup matches, registered the second-largest gains in occupancy (+10.9 percent to 82.5 percent) and RevPAR (+40.7 percent to $211.19).

Overall, 20 of the top 25 narkets registered an increase in RevPAR.
