U.S. weekly hotel results: June 7-13

The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data.

For the week of June 7-13 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

  • Occupancy: 69.9 percent (+1.9 percent)
  • Average daily rate: $172.04 (+4.9 percent)
  • Revenue per available room: $120.34 (+7 percent)

Top Markets

Among CoStar’s top 25 markets, Detroit saw the highest occupancy increase (+7.9 percent to 71 percent).

New York City posted the largest gains in ADR (+17.1 percent to $399.15) and RevPAR (+18.9 percent to $358.00), helped by the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals and a World Cup match.

Los Angeles, host of the USA vs. Paraguay World Cup match, reported the second-highest ADR lift (+13.7 percent to $234.02).
