Property enhancements at the newly renovated Courtyard Wichita (Kan.) at Old Town, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, include new furniture, fixtures and equipment in guestrooms and public spaces, refreshed bathrooms in select guestrooms, and upgraded IT through the installation of Marriott’s Guestroom Entertainment Platform, providing streaming capabilities in all guestrooms.
"This transformation beautifully captures Wichita's rich history in both the railroad and aviation industries while providing a fresh and contemporary experience for our valued guests,” General Manager Tyler Stevens said in a statement. “These industries greatly contributed to the city's growth and development, and we are delighted to pay homage to them through these renovations.”
The highlight of the renovation is the Rock Island Suite, a multipurpose premium space designed for special occasions. The property’s renovation extended beyond its 129 redesigned guestrooms and public areas to include 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
