Matchline designs Embassy Suites in Jonesboro, Ark.

MatchLine Design Group’s most recent project, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Jonesboro Red Wolf Convention Center in Jonesboro, Ark., has officially opened. MatchLine teamed up with O’Reilly Hospitality Management and BRP Architects for the project.

To create a welcoming atmosphere, the design team blended a cool-meets-warm color palette with honey-hued woods and bronzed metals, mimicking the diverse landscapes found throughout Arkansas.

The hotel’s opening reception area has a gray accent wall with gold crackle and a lighting fixture that resembles modern tree branches. Biophilic elements are woven throughout the property: The lobby is outfitted with nature-inspired artwork, a green wall and fountain, abstract carpeting inspired by local lakes, along with wooden ceiling tiles and accent walls.

Virtual Roundtable

Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience

Join Hotel Management’s Elaine Simon for our latest roundtable—Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience. The experts on the panel will share how to inspire guest confidence that hotels are safe and clean and how to win back guest business.

An open dining and bar lounge area is located past reception and is similarly designed with a connection to nature. As the focal point of the hotel lobby, the bar has a dark metal front, industrial back bar shelving with gold and bronze metal mesh cabinet doors and custom drop-pendant lighting.

The design team dressed the guestrooms and suites in a palette of warm and cool hues with curated architectural details.
