AIC Hotel Group launches all-inclusive, adults-only Unico Hotels

AIC Hotel Group is going adult-only with Unico Hotels: a new all-inclusive hotel brand that caters exclusively to adults and focuses on locale and native culture. The nomenclature will play on the latitude and longitude of each location. As such, the first hotel will be called 20° 87°, a and will be located along the Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

The debut property is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017, with exteriors designed by Artigas and interiors by AvroKo. The Unico Hotel Riviera Maya will have 448 guestrooms—many of which will have views of the ocean.

In order to create a sense of space, the hotels will be designed and curated to focus on contemporary culture rather than only heritage. Each hotel throughout the brand portfolio will include an in-room gallery with art to purchase from local artisans and an “Experience Room” where guests select personalized in-room amenities sourced from local craftsman. Food and beverage offerings will include on-site distillery or brewery incorporating flavors and ingredients from the region, as well as an annual rotating chef restaurant concept, with a focus on emerging talent and flavors.

AIC Hotel Group was formerly the All Inclusive Collection, which credits itself with introducing "the world’s first-ever all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels and Hard Rock-branded golf courses."

AIC Hotel Group is contracted by RCD Hotels to spearhead the sales and marketing efforts for the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as the recently added iconic Eden Roc Miami Beach and Nobu Hotel Miami Beach. Upcoming projects include the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos and a new luxury all-inclusive concept set to debut in Mexico in 2017.
