Avani Hotels & Resorts has signed two resort hotels in the southern Thailand town of Krabi that will be rebranded as the 83-room Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort, set to launch by mid-2020, and the 178-room Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort, opening later this year.

The rebranded resorts will bring the total number of Avani properties in Thailand to nine after Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok opens this month. Avani Hotels & Resorts currently operates 27 properties in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, most recently debuting hotels in Cambodia and South Korea. The brand’s pipeline will bring it to the Maldives, Mauritius, Vietnam and Yangon in the coming years.
