Scheduled to open in 2021, the hotel will be the first Hilton Garden Inn in the country’s capital.

“We recently announced the opening of our 100th hotel in Latin America and are steadfast in our efforts to continue this exciting growth across the region,” Juan Corvinos, managing director development, Mexico, Central America, Andean Region and the Hispanic Caribbean, Hilton, said in a statement.

Hilton Garden Inn Tegucigalpa will be part of the mixed-used complex that will include the Real De Minas Mall, office space and entertainment options. Approximately nine miles from the Toncontín International Airport, the hotel will be located on Boulevard Juan Pablo II.
