Hyatt Hotels has added five hotels in Europe to its The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand: London’s Great Scotland Yard Hotel, Istanbul’s Nish Palas, Cannes’ Hôtel Martinez, Budapest’s the Párisi Udvar Hotel and Paris’ Hôtel du Louvre.
These new additions to the Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio are slated to open by early 2019:
Hôtel Martinez, Cannes, France
Renovations on the first new addition to the brand—Hôtel Martinez on the French Riviera—are currently underway. Parisian designer Pierre-Yves Rochon managed the renovations to the 409 guestrooms. The hotel is currently under partial operations with a limited room inventory and facilities, but will fully reopen on May 5.
Nish Palas, Istanbul, Turkey
Nish Palas will open in summer 2018. The 45-room hotel in Nisantasi will be the first Unbound Collection hotel in Turkey. The hotel, which will have a new restaurant and rooftop area, will be developed near the Bosphorus Sea.
Great Scotland Yard Hotel, London, UK
The Great Scotland Yard Hotel, which was originally the London Metropolitan police station, will follow the new Istanbul location. The property is currently being developed into the Unbound Collection’s first hotel in the UK. The hotel expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2018 will have 153 guestrooms and F&B outlets while it will maintain the original façade.
Hôtel du Louvre, Paris, France
The 117-room Hôtel du Louvre in Paris in the city’s cultural district is also slated to reopen in the fourth quarter of 2018. The hotel next to the Musée du Louvre, the Comédie-Française, the Palais Garnier and Palais Royal will keep its existing restaurant.
Párisi Udvar Hotel, Budapest, Hungary
Párisi Udvar Hotel is the final hotel in the Unbound Collection pipeline scheduled to open by the first quarter of 2019. Hyatt will convert the 20th-century Brudern House into the 110-room Párisi Udvar Hotel on Ferenciek Square in Budapest’s center.
These hotels will follow the recent opening of Unbound Collections’ new properties in North America—Nashville, Tenn.’s Holston House Nashville, Osoyoos, British Columbia Spirit Ridge. In this region, Philadelphia’s Bellevue Hotel and New Orleans’ Eliza Jane are slated to join the brand in March 2018. The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand portfolio, which was established in 2016, currently includes The Driskill in Austin, Texas, Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix, The Confidante Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Fla. and Carmelo Resort & Spa in Uruguay.
