Radisson Collection to debut in New Zealand in 2022

The first Radisson Collection property for New Zealand has been signed and is slated to debut in 2022.

The Queenstown property will be mid-city and close to the Skyline Queenstown gondola, and feature 61 guestrooms, restaurant and day spa.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Queenstown is being developed by local property-fund manager Augusta Capital. The hotel will be one of its key assets in the manager's open-ended Tourism Fund, which is expected to launch to investors in the Australasian market in Q1.

“This brand is perfectly suited to Queenstown and the project is set to elevate the standard of top-tier accommodations in the city,” said Mark Francis, founder of Augusta Capital. “Queenstown is a thriving economic center and airport passenger numbers, guest nights and annual visitor spend has continued to grow over the past five years. Ongoing sector growth is expected and our strategic collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group places us well to capitalize on this."
