Thailand’s Akaryn Hotel Group expands in Thailand and Laos

Thailand’s Akaryn Hotel Group is growing its portfolio throughout Asia. One property just opened yesterday, another is slated for February, and a third will open in January 2018.

On December 7, the Akyra Beach Club Phuket opened on Natai Beach in Phang Nga, Thailand, targeting “affluent millennials seeking an in-touch Phuket lifestyle experience.” 

In February, 2017 The President by Akaryn will officially open as the first boutique luxury hotel in Vientiane, Laos, and Akaryn's first property in Laos. The President has been selected as the main partner for the United Nations-led, Asia Geographical Indication Program.
 
In January of 2018, The Akyra Thonglor Bangkok (previously serviced apartments) will re-open following renovations that are already underway. Owner Anchalika Kijkanakorn said that the property will be inspired by its neighborhood. “Thonglor is my favorite part of Bangkok...exciting, arty, cutting-edge, full of design inspiration and art galleries.”
