Viceroy plans Serbian ski resort for next year

Viceroy Hotel Group unveiled plans for Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia, a 120-room ski resort at the foot of Serbia’s largest mountain range, Kopaonik. 

Set to open in 2018, Viceroy’s newest project is the second ski property in the group’s portfolio.

Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia part of a partnership between Viceroy Hotel Group and KPI D.O.O. Belgrade, a privately held real estate developer based out of Belgrade that specializes in Central and Eastern Europe investments.

Viceroy Kopaonik’s architectural and design details draw inspiration from the local “Suvo Rudiste” style that plays on the resort’s surrounding landscape. Dark natural timber anchors the design with clean white accents. Detailing from Wimberly Interiors and dark timber materials by architects WATG evokes the local environment while reflecting the Viceroy "vibe."
