The Kabani Hotel Group of Marcus & Millichap held its fourth Annual Hotel Investment Forum & Luncheon at the Pullman Miami Airport Hotel Oct. 24. Th event, with more than 200 in attendance, brought together investors, developers, CEOs and dealmakers to topics such as industry trends, the current market cycle, tax cuts and technology.

Some takeaways from the event include:

  • Expenditures on travel and leisure experiences continue to grow.
  • Globalization and connectivity among distant markets is increasing the geographic scope of all sizes of businesses, resulting in new opportunities for the hospitality industry.

Marcus & Millichap specializes in commercial real estate investment sales, financing, research and advisory services. In 2018, the firm closed 9,472 transactions with a value of approximately $46.4 billion.
