New breakfast space, lounge unveiled at Amway Grand Plaza

Rendezvous, now open at the Amway Grand Plaza, Curio Collection By Hilton in Grand Rapids, Mich., is the hotel’s newest culinary destination. The eatery and lounge will seamlessly transition from day to night, offering an inviting breakfast experience in the morning before transforming into a seductive lounge in the evenings.

Set within the main lobby of the landmark hotel, Rendezvous’ bespoke interior design offers a glamorous yet warm aesthetic with black and gold accent details. Three dark wood communal tables with seating for up to 10 people act as the centerpieces for the space and offers guests a lively and social experience. For more intimate parties, the lounge features plush banquet seating and cozy two top tables.

For breakfast, Rendezvous features fresh, seasonal cuisine sourced by local farms in West Michigan. Guests will enjoy a sophisticated and robust breakfast buffet complete with omelet and waffle making stations, house made breads and pastries, fresh juices and specialty coffee and tea.

As evening approaches, Rendezvous will seamlessly transition into a sultry cocktail lounge with a curated menu of craft cocktails including Old Fashioned cocktails and Manhattan’s smoked tableside. Specialty drinks include the Acai Mojito and the Basil-Gin Fizz. The evening menu will serve lite bites, including international cheese and charcuterie including grass-fed beef with herbs, truffles and salt, flavorful snacks and sweet treats. Each night guests will enjoy live music by local Grand Rapids artists.

Rendezvous adds to the hotel’s other culinary choices, including Cygnus27, The Kitchen and The Kitchen Counter by Wolfgang Puck, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, GP Sports, Lumber Baron Bar and more.
