HFTP partners with Hospitality Law Conference on finance education

The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has partnered with The Hospitality Law Conference to present educational programming at the conference's Washington, D.C. event on Oct. 28–29, 2026.

Co-hosted by Choice Hotels, the program will bring together developers, attorneys and finance executives to discuss financial issues and regulatory trends affecting the hospitality industry. According to the organizations, the partnership is intended to provide cross-disciplinary education for attorneys, developers and finance executives involved in hotel transactions, investments and asset management.

As part of the conference, HFTP will lead a half-day roundtable focused on hospitality finance and technology. Programming will examine topics including investment, transactions, risk management and financial strategy, with an emphasis on issues affecting legal, development and finance professionals.

“Success in today’s hospitality environment requires closer collaboration across operational functions,” Frank Wolfe, CEO, HFTP, said in a statement. “We are proud to contribute to this program by facilitating meaningful dialogue and sharing insights that help industry professionals address challenges and identify new opportunities for growth.”

“Whether you're evaluating investments, structuring transactions, managing risk, or responding to an evolving regulatory landscape, success depends on collaboration among legal, financial, and operational leaders. We are delighted to partner with HFTP to deliver programming that brings these perspectives together and equips attendees with practical insights they can apply immediately within their organizations,” added Stephen Barth, founder, The Hospitality Law Conference.

Additional programming details, including session schedules and registration information, will be announced at a later date.
