3 hotels plan summer openings

Three hotels have unveiled plans to debut this summer: the Arrive East Austin in Texas, the Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn in New York City and the citizenM Boston North Station.

Arrive East Austin

The 83-room Arrive East Austin is slated to open its doors July 10. The hotel will include two restaurants—Vixen’s Wedding and Lefty’s Brick Bar—as well as a gin bar and a coffee shop. Without a welcome desk, guests here will check in at the hotel bar and direct any requests via text message to a number listed on their room key. The hotel will mark the third hotel opening for Arrive Hotels & Restaurants. The brand launched its first hotel, the 32-room Arrive Palm Springs (Calif.), in 2016.

Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn

Valor Hospitality Partners will open the 187-room Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn in New York City this July. The hotel will include 187 guestrooms, a dual-level restaurant, a pool, an open-air sundeck, nearly 20,000 square feet of event space, a fitness center and a large outdoor courtyard.

CitizenM Boston North Station

The 272-room citizenM Boston North Station is expected to open Aug. 5. It will include an outdoor terrace, a retail space, an open-plan dining area with 24/7 grab-and-go food and drinks and six meeting rooms. The hotel lobby, styled as a “living room,” will be open to the public and include a collection of art, books and designer furniture. Located above the major transportation hub North Station near the city’s North End neighborhood, the hotel provides easy access to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston Common and TD Garden.
