Choice Hotels International has opened an upscale Cambria Hotels on both the East and West coast this month. The Cambria Hotel Ocean City (Md.) - Bayfront and Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country in Rohnert Park, Calif., are both short drives from major metropolitan areas, targeting the rapidly increasing leisure travelers seeking drive-to destinations.

Both hotels, which represent the brand's substantial growth across the country, are in easily accessible drive-to locations as today's travelers pursue road trips more often than air travel."
The Cambria Hotel Ocean City - Bayfront was developed by Tauhid Islam of Pinnacle Hospitality Group and Mihir Wankawala of The Wankawala Organization, while the Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country was developed by Stratus Development Partners and is managed by Azul Hospitality Group.
East Coast
The eight-story, 137-room Cambria Hotel Ocean City - Bayfront is Cambria's fourth property in Maryland. The hotel is steps from the Boardwalk and the Inlet, which host a variety of summer concerts and special events. Guests can also walk to two beachside amusement parks and shopping options.
Amenities at the hotel include a rooftop bar with ocean views, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, a seasonal outdoor pool with a poolside tiki bar and cabanas, an on-site restaurant as well as a grab-and-go option, a fitness center and more than 2,400 square feet of multifunction meeting and event space.
West Coast
The four-story, 135-room Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country is the brand's third property in California. The hotel is within driving distance of Sonoma County's almost 60,000 acres of vineyards and more than 400 wineries. Other nearby attractions include Crane Creek Regional Park and Graton Casino. The hotel is also close to San Francisco and many major businesses like Keysight Technologies, Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Health and Sonoma State University.
Amenities at the hotel include an on-site restaurant and bar as well as a 24/7 marketplace with grab-and-go options, multifunction meeting and event space, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, a patio with fire pits, a fitness center with Peloton bikes and pet-friendly accommodations.
