Conrad Hotels & Resorts debuts in Orlando

Hilton has opened the Conrad Orlando, marking the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand’s debut in Orlando and second property in Florida. Located within Evermore Orlando Resort’s 1,100-acre property less than three miles from one of Orlando’s theme park resorts, the 433-room Conrad Orlando has five dining venues; the Conrad Spa Orlando and Water Garden; Evermore Bay, an eight-acre lagoon and pool complex; and more than 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

“Florida and particularly Orlando have long been a priority market for Hilton’s growth in the U.S., with more than 450 hotels representing 15 brands welcoming guests across the state," Danny Hughes, president, Americas, Hilton, said in a statement. "The arrival of Conrad Orlando reinforces our commitment to meet the ever-evolving needs of today’s traveler, and we are thrilled to add an additional luxury hotel to our robust portfolio in the market. We are proud of the tremendous effort that our talented Team Members have put forth in bringing this project to life and we look forward to the positive impact this paradise-inspired retreat, in partnership with the unique Evermore Orlando Resort, will have on the local community.”

“The exceptional amenities, bold design, and natural surroundings of the property, paired with the seamless service of the Conrad brand, create a unique destination in a lively city like Orlando," said Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head, Hilton Luxury Brands. "With a high energy atmosphere and several things to do, Conrad Orlando offers accessibility to the best of the city while also being a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy for all types of travelers."

Drawing inspiration from Florida’s more than 1,000 natural springs, the largest concentration of springs in the world, and the 500-acre nature preserve adjacent to the property, Conrad Orlando’s design synchronizes with the area’s natural landscape to create an indoor-outdoor environment that inspires harmony between relaxation and rejuvenation. Designed by global architecture firm HKS and interior design firm Anderson/Miller, the hotel transports guests to the tropics with a bold, modern design unlike any other in Central Florida’s luxury hotel scene. A contemporary reflection of land and sea, Conrad Orlando embraces the use of organic shapes and fluid lines to emulate the flow of water, while natural wood tones and use of regional materials, such as limestone, create the tie back to land.

The lobby has an art installation inspired by a wooden Chris-Craft boat. Conrad Orlando’s guestrooms, public areas and meeting spaces balance calming color palettes with paintings and sculptural installations, inspired by water-themed artwork from local artisans.

Conrad Orlando’s 433 guestrooms and suites have oak flooring, beds outfitted with Frette linens, built-in closets, bathrooms with marbled double vanities and Byredo bath products and minibars with Nespresso machines.

The hotel’s accommodations include 61 suites ranging from one to three bedrooms, all with standalone soak tubs and outdoor living space. Ten Family Suites have a private bedroom along with a full living room with a pullout sofa and two twin bunkbeds that can be tucked away behind pocket doors.
