Dreams Playa Mujeres hotel opens in Mexico

AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group subsidiary, celebrated the opening of its newest resort, Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort, on Nov. 30, bringing the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand portfolio to 14 properties, including eight in Mexico.

Situated in the upscale, gated Playa Mujeres community just outside of Cancun, the 502 all-suite, family-friendly Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is a private beachfront escape that offers guests the benefits of the brand’s signature Unlimited-Luxury vacation concept, where everything is included and no wristbands or gratuities are required — gourmet à la carte dining at 10 restaurants including an ice cream parlor; unlimited premium drinks at 13 bars and lounges; Explorer’s Club for Kids (ages 3-12) and Core Zone Teen Club (ages 13-17) with supervised day and evening activities; 24-hour roomservice and daily refreshed minibar; pool and beach wait service; endless daytime activities and live nightly entertainment, among other amenities.

The luxury property is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and offers three levels of swimming pools including two infinity pools, six whirlpools, a children’s pool, a waterpark with two waterslides, a lazy river and designated mini waterpark area for kids. Guests have access to complimentary green fees and roundtrip transportation to the in-complex 18-hole Playa Mujeres Golf Course, designed by golf legend Greg Norman. All Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort guests can also enjoy complimentary traditional Temazcal (or Mayan sweat lodge) ceremonies on-site and the Dreams Spa by Pevonia, spanning nearly 16,000 square feet.
