Drury Hotels has opened its first property in the Tampa Bay market with the debut of the 210-room Drury Plaza Hotel Tampa Brandon.
The Tampa opening follows several recent additions to Drury Hotels' Florida portfolio, which now includes seven hotels. The newest properties include the Drury Inn & Suites Destin Miramar Beach, which opened in May 2026; the Drury Plaza Hotel Tallahassee, which opened in 2024; and the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area, which opened in 2022.
The Drury Plaza Hotel Brandon provides access to downtown Tampa and area attractions, including the Tampa Riverwalk, Busch Gardens, Raymond James Stadium, the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa International Airport and Port Tampa Bay. The new hotel is expected to employ 65 full- and part-time team members and is managed by general manager Ian Gallaher.

The hotel includes more than 2,40-square-feet of meeting and event space, including two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 300 attendees. Guest accommodations include queen, king and suite room types. Amenities include a 24-hour business center, fitness center, outdoor pool and spa, parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, hot breakfast and the company's evening food-and-beverage offering, the 5:30 Kickback.
Food-and-beverage options include The Kitchen + Bar, a lobby-based restaurant and bar serving casual fare, cocktails, and other beverages, as well as a guest market and 24-hour coffee service.
