Dual-brand properties open in Colorado, New York, Minnesota

The opening of a Tru by Hilton/Home2 Suites by Hilton in Denver comes on the heels of two other recent dual-brand debuts. Together, the openings add 777 rooms in Colorado, New York and Minnesota.

The Tru by Hilton/Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center is slated to open Nov. 1. Owned and managed by Stonebridge Cos., the property offers 176 Tru rooms and 206 Home2 Suites rooms. It features 3,300 square feet of meeting space; a street-level bar; a shared lobby where guests can work, play and eat; a grab-and-go market; a fitness center and a five-story parking garage. Based in Denver, Stonebridge Cos. now operates 23 properties within the city’s metro area.

Earlier this week, the Courtyard by Marriott/Residence Inn by Marriott Albany Airport opened in New York. Offering 130 Courtyard rooms and 85 Residence Inn suites, the property also features in indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 675 square feet of meeting space. The hotels are located 1 mile from Albany International Airport and 15 minutes from the New York capital’s downtown area. A partnership between Hampstead America and First Columbia owns the hotel and DelMonte Hotel Group operates it.

In Minnesota, the Residence Inn by Marriott/SpringHill Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes debuted. Owned and managed by TPI Hospitality of Wilmar, Minn., the property features 96 Residence Inn suites and 84 SpringHill Suites keys. Amenities include a heated indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 558 square feet of meeting space. The property is located near the Arbor Lakes shopping area, which is home to more than 200 businesses.
