First Gravity Haus ski resort targets adventurers, athletes

Gravity Haus, a social club and hotel for outdoor enthusiasts, opened its first location in Breckenridge, Colo. The completely renovated ski-in, ski-out Breck Haus includes 60 curated and configured rooms and amenities tailored to athletes and outdoor people.

“Our mission is to create a Colorado-lifestyle social club that connects a local and global community of nature-loving, outdoor sports enthusiasts,” Jim Deters, founder/CEO of Gravity Haus, said in a statement. “Adventure travelers and athletes want to play like a local, check in and out of work with ease, train and have healthy, smart and eco-conscious choices that match their modern lifestyle.”

Breck Haus, formerly The Village Hotel at Breckenridge, is the first of several planned Gravity Haus properties. In addition to its fitness-focused amenities, it also includes a restaurant, coffee shop and co-working space. Vail Resorts operates the property.
