Soho House plans Latin America debut

The first Soho House in Latin America is set to open in Mexico City early next year.

The upcoming Soho House Mexico City is in the Colonia Juárez neighborhood in a former private residence that has been updated to reflect the building's historic French influences and baroque heritage. Its interior comprises of multiple intimate rooms and cellar corridors with unique identities.

“Mexico City is an exciting opening for Soho House as it marks our first location in Latin America," said Jarrett Stuhl, COO, Soho House the Americas, in a statement. "We’ve had a presence in the city since 2017 through our Cities Without Houses program, and we are delighted to bring a physical space that is both historic and grand. This house is one of our most ambitious design projects, and we look forward to welcoming our members and future members to experience the rich and vibrant culture of Mexico City."

The property will include a main house and annex with three bars and lounges, a restaurant, and a courtyard with outdoor dining.

Soho House Design, Soho House’s in-house team, will curate the spaces with a mixture of locally made custom furniture and vintage pieces from Mexican and international designers including an art collection of more than 100 works from artists born, based or trained in Mexico. The grounds will be anchored by an outdoor pool with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a pool house bar and dining room.
