Hilton opens East Coast, New Mexico properties

The newest Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened in Carlsbad, N.M. The property, owned and managed by Insignia Hospitality Group, has 99 suites close to the Carlsbad Caverns, the Pecos River and the Cavern City Air Terminal.

“Home2 Suites Carlsbad is the perfect place for a family or anyone staying for a while,” said Rachel Overman, COO of Insignia Hospitality Group. “Carlsbad will be enriched with the presence of this new hotel.”

In addition to guestrooms with full kitchens, the hotel has a combined laundry and fitness area, a market for grab-and-go items and a complimentary breakfast. The pet-friendly hotel also has a game area and a space for grilling outdoors.

Two Trus

Hilton also opened two new Tru hotels on the East Coast. In Virginia, owner and operator Simons Run Hospitality opened the 82-room Tru by Hilton Lynchburg. The new hotel is close to the Lynchburg Regional Airport, Liberty University and a planned Centra Health development.

The 140-room Tru by Hilton Baltimore Harbor East, meanwhile, is owned by Holladay Properties and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality. The new hotel is located near the National Aquarium, Historic Fells Point and Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
