Sonesta International Hotels has opened the Hotel 11, Mod, a Sonesta Collection in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With views of the Rocky Mountains and a centralized location just minutes from Calgary International Airport, the 155-room property has access to local cultural attractions and businesses.
“We are excited to unveil the inaugural property of Mod, Sonesta's newest soft brand, in Calgary,” Shona Karas, owner of Hotel 11, MOD a Sonesta Collection, said in a statement. “The hotel's generous space and convenient location deliver an unparalleled guest experience, catering to both business and leisure travelers exploring Western Canada.”
The property's guestrooms have a Nespresso coffee maker, bathrobes and 50-inch televisions. There also is an on-site business center, indoor heated pool, hot tub and fitness center.

Mod is positioned within Sonesta’s upscale portfolio. Each Mod hotel will feature eclectic interior designs and amenities, such as curated food and beverage options.
