Hyatt Centric opens in Silicon Valley

The 167-room Hyatt Centric Mountain View (Calif.) has opened in Silicon Valley, marking the brand’s fourth entry in the state. Hyatt Centric has 29 properties across 11 countries, including Chile, France, Spain, India and Japan.

OTO Development, part of The Johnson Group, developed the Hyatt Centric Mountain View with CallisonRTKL as architect, Studio HBA as interior designer and Lusardi Construction Co. as general contractor. OTO operates the hotel.

The hotel includes nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, a heated pool and a 24-hour business center. Fairchilds Public House, its restaurant and bar, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour.

The hotel is located in walking distance of restaurants, retailers, a movie theater and mass transit stops. Situated in Silicon Valley, it is also near major technology companies like Google, who’s global headquarters is less than 3 miles away.

According to its website, OTO has developed 530 properties and currently manages 65 hotels.
