3 new Hyatt Place hotels open in U.S., Canada

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has opened three Hyatt Place hotels in the U.S. and Canada over the past two weeks. 

Montreal

The Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown is Montreal’s first Hyatt Place hotel. Acquired in August 2019 by Sageblan Investments, the 354-room hotel has undergone a $25 million dollar renovation.

Public spaces include an indoor pool and sauna, remote working areas, 10 meeting rooms with more than 6,000 square feet of flexible space, a restaurant and a Starbucks. 

The hotel is located near the Village neighborhood and close to the Quartier des Spectacles. Montreal's largest metro station, Berri-UQAM, is connected to the hotel.

Fort Worth, Texas

The new Hyatt Place Fort Worth (Texas)/Alliance Town Center is owned by Moon Hotel Alliance Investment and managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts of Dallas.

The 130-room hotel has a breakfast bar and a market, a bar, an outdoor heated pool, a fitness center and 1,762 square feet of event space. 

Alliance Town Center is a mixed-use destination with outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment. The area is also a 20-minute drive to the Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Virginia Beach, Va.

The 140-room Hyatt Place Virginia Beach (Va.)/Oceanfront is located directly on the oceanfront, and its guestrooms have private balconies that look over the Boardwalk or Atlantic Avenue.

Public spaces include a breakfast bar and a market, a bar, a fitness center and 725 square feet of event space.  

The hotel is owned by Virginia Beach-based Suburban Capital.
