Hyatt opens adults-only Dominican Republic resort

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has opened the Secrets Tides Punta Cana, the latest Inclusive Collection resort to open in the Dominican Republic. The 688-room adults-only resort expands Hyatt’s leisure portfolio in the Caribbean destination to 17 resorts with continued growth expected in late 2024 with the introduction of the Hyatt Centric brand in Santo Domingo.

Located in the Uvero Alto neighborhood of Punta Cana, the property has traditional Dominican architecture, complemented by vegetation, bendy palms and local flora.

Accommodations

The all-suite resort has a variety of room categories, all with a furnished balcony or terrace, mini-bar, coffee bar, bathrobes and slippers. With tropical, garden, pool or ocean views, guests can lavish in the breathtaking destination of Uvero Alto, just steps away from the white sand beaches.

The Preferred Club includes suites and a range of additional perks including personalized check-in and checkout service. Preferred Club guests have access to the Preferred Club Lounge as well as private access to an exclusive restaurant, the Preferred Club pool and a dedicated area at the infinity pool and the beach.

Public Spaces

The property has nine restaurants serving local and international cuisine, including South American, Pan-Asian, Mediterrasian fusion and Mediterranean. It also has eight bars and lounges.

The hotel has three pools and two outdoor hot tubs as well as the Secrets Spa.
