Loge converts former Colorado ski lodge to outdoor-focused hotel

Loge Camps has opened the 50-room Loge Wolf Creek in South Fork, Colo., with a focus on fly fishing, hiking and snowshoeing in the surrounding mountains.

As part of its brand mission, Loge finds "forgotten" motels near towns, trails and recreation areas and brings them back to life. With Loge Wolf Creek, the group revitalized the former Wolf Creek Ski Lodge, retaining the heritage elements while updating the accommodations to reflect a more modern experience centered around outdoor recreation.

“Wolf Creek and South Fork are perfect matches for Loge,” Loge Founder and CEO Cale Genebacher said in a statement. “Off the beaten path, in an incredible spot for all kinds of adventures ... Loge Wolf Creek is going to be a perfect outdoor destination for those looking for a blend of comfort and exploration.”

Loge Wolf Creek is developing van hookups for those looking to maximize road trip budgets. EV charging stations are coming soon. The property also has a communal fire pit, hot-tubs and a full-service café.
