Radisson opens new serviced apartments in Istanbul

Less than a month ago, Radisson Hospitality AB, part of Radisson Hotel Group, announced plans to open the Radisson Residences Avrupa Tem İstanbul in Turkey following a partial renovation of the existing Avrupa Residence Suites. Just weeks later, the property has its first guests.

The 140-apartment residence is located within the Avrupa Tem Residential Complex, close to the Istanbul Airport.

“We are proud to open another stunning property in Turkey, with our 16th hotel in Istanbul,” said Michel Stalport, area SVP/Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey at Radisson Hotel Group. “We thank our partners for their continued trust and look forward to creating many more memorable moments for our guests.”

The hotel is approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the new Istanbul Airport and 400 meters from the nearest exit of the Trans-European Motorway (E80), which links the residence to the city.

Hotel occupancy in Istanbul grew 8.7 percent to 72 percent in Q2 while ADR improved 40.4 percent to TRY602.53 and RevPAR went up 52.7 percent to TRY434.06, according to the latest stats from STR.
