Restoration Hotel Collection opens second location

The Restoration Hotel Collection has opened its second location in Asheville, N.C. Adding to its flagship location in Charleston, S.C., the hotel has 60 guestrooms. Public spaces include The Exchange, a full-service restaurant and bar; The Observatory, a rooftop cocktail bar and event space; The Rise coffee shop; and The Draftsman, an underground speakeasy-style lounge with bowling lanes and a stage for live music.

Under the ownership of Jeffrey Anderson Real Estate, The Restoration Asheville design was inspired by European architects and artisans that applied their trades to the city of Asheville constructing the Biltmore Estate and the surrounding region.

“We continued our expansion in the southeast due to its great climate and outdoor lifestyle,” owner JR Anderson said in a statement. “We selected a site that we believe will immerse our guests in all the authenticity and creativity that Asheville offers. Pritchard Park attracts tourists and locals alike, and we love that the property is perfectly oriented to engage with some of the most well-known traditions and programs within the community.”

Additional amenities include a curated, on-property library, in-room spa services, and The Solarium, a dedicated meeting and event space accommodating up to 300 guests. Guestrooms at the Asheville property range from 375 to 600 square feet.
