Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide set up a new Regional Office in Gurgaon, India. The new office is located at Vatika Business Park on Sohna Road and can accommodate over 60 associates. The new office functions as the group' regional headquarters in South East Asia. Presently, this office oversees different hospitality markets namely India, Bangladesh and Maldives and the company is expecting to add Sri Lankan market as well to its responsibility portfolio of the office soon.
This office was established to manage membership of the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program, which tripled in India over the past three years. SPG members represent over 45 per cent of hotel guests at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide in India.
