Texas Western Hospitality of Addison, Texas, has opened its newest Lone Star State property: TownePlace Suites by Marriott Abilene Southwest. General Manager Denise Worley leads the management team at the 112-room property for Texas Western Hospitality.
“We are delighted to add the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Abilene Southwest to Texas Western’s dynamic portfolio of hotels in the Abilene market,” Kristin Waddill, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Texas Western Hospitality, said in a statement. “This hotel provides our guests with a home away from home, offering spacious accommodations and a more pleasing alternative to the standard hotel room.”
TownePlace by Marriott Abilene Southwest has studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. The kitchens have stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, while the guestrooms have adjustable work spaces with built-in shelves and lighting.
Public spaces at the pet-friendly hotel include a fitness center, an outdoor patio with fire pit and Weber grills, guest laundry and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
The four-story TownePlace Suites by Marriott Abilene Southwest is close to downtown Abilene, Mall of Abilene, Taylor County Expo Center, Abilene Zoo, Frontier Texas and Dyess Air Force Base. The hotel is also close to the Grace Museum, Abilene State Park, Abilene Christian University, Abilene Convention Center and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options.
