Vail Hospitality Group, Sunridge open new Colorado property

Vail Hospitality Group and Sunridge Hotel Group have opened the 146-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Vail. The all-suite property is owned by Vail Hospitality Group and managed by Sunridge Hotel Group. General Manager Jeff Cote is leading the management team at the property.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Vail is located five minutes from downtown Vail and Lionshead Village. The four-story hotel is close to Vail Village, Vail Ski Resort, Gore Creek, the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and year-round recreation at White River National Forest.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests to the Residence Inn Vail and debut a completely new brand to the area,” Sunridge Hotel Group President Brian Welker said in a statement. “We look forward to showcasing the assets of this property as we have done everything possible to exceed the expectations of our guests.”

The Residence Inn by Marriott Vail has studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with balconies and mountain views. The suites have a work desk and ergonomic chair. Each suite also has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave oven and residential-sized appliances.

Onsite amenities at the pet-friendly hotel include a fitness center, 850 square feet of meeting space, a hot tub on a heated deck, an outdoor patio with a fire pit and barbecue grills and a viewing deck. The lobby has a full-service bar that also serves light fare. There also is grocery delivery service, 24-hour onsite food and beverage market and dry-cleaning services.
