Wayside Investment reopens Texas Extended Stay America Suites property

Wayside Investment Group, a privately owned Texas-based real estate firm, has reopened its Extended Stay America Suites located in Baytown, Texas, following a comprehensive renovation to provide more current amenities and services to long-term guests. The three-story, 82-room property renovations included significant upgrades to guestrooms, public spaces, a refinished exterior, and new signage.

“We are thrilled to partner with Extended Stay America for the reopening of our Baytown property, replicating the current prototype in a comprehensive renovation that highlights our commitment to enhancing guest experiences and adding value through asset repositioning,” Wayside Investment Group President Miraj Patel said in a statement.

Key upgrades include:

  • Guestroom suites transformed to offer guests a more comfortable home away from home, including new fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, cookware, utensils and dishes, as well as pillowtop beds, recliners and workspace.
  • Public spaces (lobby, guest laundry, corridor, fitness center and pool) were outfitted with new furnishings, flooring, wall coverings and lighting fixtures.

Extended Stay America Suites Baytown has complimentary services, including Wi-Fi, grab-and-go breakfast and premium cable. The property is located off I-10, providing guests access to the Houston metropolitan region and local attractions, including the Space Center Houston, Pirates Bay Waterpark, the Baytown Nature Center, and The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
