8 properties join new management company portfolios

Eight hotels in five different states have announced new management companies.

Florida

McKibbon Hospitality added five Florida hotels to its management portfolio. Owned by Hospitality Investors Trust, the properties are the Hampton Inn Boca Raton, Hampton Inn & Suites Boynton Beach, Hampton Inn Boca Raton-Deerfield Beach, Hampton Inn Palm Beach Gardens, and Hampton Inn West Palm Beach-Florida Turnpike.

The new hotels significantly expand McKibbon’s presence in South Florida, where the company currently manages eight additional properties. It also builds upon McKibbon and HIT’s longstanding partnership, bringing the total number of McKibbon-managed, HIT-owned hotels throughout the Southeast to 17.

The five new hotels add a total of 579 new rooms to McKibbon’s overall portfolio, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 9,736 across 86 hotels throughout the U.S.

Montana and Texas

InnVentures has been selected for management of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bozeman in Montana and Hyatt Place Dallas / North Arlington / Grand Prairie, bringing the company’s portfolio to 49 properties in 13 states.

Opened in May 2017, the SpringHill Suites is situated near the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and Montana State University. The 90-room hotel features a modern lounge and patio area, a pool, a spa and a fitness center. This marks the fifth hotel that the company will manage for Montana-based owner BlackRidge Companies.

InnVentures’ first hotel in Texas, the 134-room Hyatt Place sits in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District, easily accessible to DFW International Airport, Six Flags Over Texas, AT&T Stadium, the new Globe Life Park, and other destinations in the Metroplex. Contemporary rooms feature dedicated connected workspaces and seating areas, all including Cozy Corner sofa sleepers.

Louisiana

Davidson Hotels & Resorts added The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center in New Orleans to its portfolio. Operated by Davidson’s lifestyle and luxury division Pivot Hotels & Resorts, the 230-room, art deco-inspired boutique hotel is part of Curio Collection by Hilton. Located in New Orleans’ Arts and Warehouse District adjacent to The National WWII Museum, the property was intentionally designed to complement the museum experience. Opened in December 2019, The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center features four era-inspired dining options including a rooftop bar, 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space and more. The National WWII Museum owns the hotel.
