BW Signature Collection by Best Western coming to Thailand

Best Western Hotels & Resorts has set plans to bring its newest brand BW Signature Collection by Best Western to Asia this year.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts has signed the Tawaravadee Resort in Thailand's Pranchinburi Province. The existing resort owned by My Green Resident Company, Ltd. is scheduled to reopen under the BW Signature Collection by Best Western brand in third quarter.

The Tawaravadee Resort, BW Signature Collection by Best Western has 199 guestrooms. The property in Thailand's countryside is near Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport and ancient ruins.

The resort is part of Best Western Hotel & Resort's plan to expand in Thailand, one of the hotel organization's key target markets. Best Western Hotels & Resorts has an additional 17 new hotels in the pipeline for the country.

The company also will introduce its Vib brand to Thailand later this year. The new-build Vib Sanam Pao in Bangkok will have 89 guestrooms.

This latest addition to Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio follows the signing of eight new hotels in Thailand, Japan and Vietnam in 2017. The pipeline totaled 24 hotel projects with more than 1,000 guestrooms when the new hotels were added.

Eleven Best Western-branded hotels are slated to open between 2019 and 2020, five of which will operate in Thailand. The new Thailand properties include the Best Western Prime Square in Chiang Mai, the Best Western Premiere Bayphere in Pattaya, the BluPhere Pattaya, BW Premier Collection on the Gulf of Thailand, the Best Western Chatuchak near Bangkok’s Chatuchak Weekend Market and the Best Western Nada Don Muang near Bangkok’s Don Muang International Airport.

Tawaravadee Resort will be Best Western Hotels & Resort's 10th property in Thailand. The other nine hotels operate under the company's brands Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Premier, BW Premier Collection by Best Western and SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western.
