Crescent Hotels & Resorts adds historic California hotel

Crescent Hotels & Resorts has added The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa to its Latitudes: Lifestyles by Crescent portfolio. The Riverside, Calif. hotel is a National Historic Landmark and member of the Historic Hotels of America.

"We understand that our community, our guests, and our employees are the heart of The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa," Kelly and Duane Roberts, owners of the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, said in a statement. "It's their affection and dedication to this landmark that have made it more than just a hotel. It's a shared piece of our collective history. With this in mind, we took great care in selecting a partner who respects and cherishes our legacy as much as we do. Crescent’s proven dedication to maintaining the unique character of their portfolio hotels, combined with their commitment to exceptional service, ensures that the magic of The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa will not only continue but flourish. We’re simply embarking on a new journey, and we’re confident that it will be just as extraordinary as the last.”

The property’s distinctive architecture is mirrored in its 238 guestrooms, including 27 suites. Elements such as fireplaces and window seats have been preserved to honor the hotel’s past and combined with contemporary amenities.

“Our collaboration with owners, Kelly and Duane Roberts, sets the stage for a new era of hospitality at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa,” said Michael George, president and founder of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. ”We couldn’t be more excited to partner with The Roberts to elevate the unmatched elegance of this historic property to a new audience of contemporary travelers.”
