Crestline, OLS, Remington add hotels to management portfolios

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, OLS Hotels & Resorts and Remington Hotels have taken over management of new hotels recently.

Apple Hospitality REIT chose Crestline to manage four properties: the 126-room Hilton Garden Inn Annapolis (Md.); the 165-room Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; the 102-room Courtyard by Marriott Syracuse (N.Y.)  Downtown at Armory Square; and the 78-room Residence Inn by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square. Both Hilton Garden Inns include a pool, a fitness center and a food-and-beverage venue; the Courtyard features a fitness center, meeting space and a bistro; and the Residence Inn includes an indoor heated pool and meeting space.

OLS took over management of three Hawaii hotels: the White Sands Hotel, the Pacific Monarch Hotel and the Maui Beach Hotel. Located in Honolulu’s Waikiki neighborhood, the White Sands Hotel features 95 guestrooms and, later this year, revamped food-and-beverage offerings by Fête Restaurant Group. Less than a 10-minute walk away, the Pacific Monarch Hotel is a 140-key residential-style hotel with a restaurant and café. In downtown Kahului, Hawaii, the 147-room Maui Beach Hotel includes a swimming pool, a fitness center, meeting rooms and a ballroom. Within the next year, OLS plans to invest in a redesign of the property, updating guestrooms, public spaces and the exterior.

Remington recently signed management agreements for hotels in Colorado and New York. McClurg Century Investments and Cypress 16 selected the company to open and manage the 110-room, new-build Residence Inn by Marriott Steamboat Springs (Colo.). Twenty-five miles outside of New York City, Remington also entered into a management agreement with Lixi Group to manage the 150-room Sheraton Tarrytown (N.Y.) Hotel. Amenities there include a newly opened tapas restaurant and an indoor pool.
