The board of directors of Louvre Hotels Group appointed Federico J. González, formerly CEO of Radisson Hotel Group, as its new group CEO. From this new position, González will lead Louvre Hotels Group’s strategy and business. Louvre Hotel Group’s executive team will report directly to Federico.
At the same time, Radisson Hotel Group’s board of directors appointed González executive vice chairman. From this position, González will continue to supervise Radisson Hotel Group, where he has worked for more than six years.
González has global executive leadership experience in the hospitality, leisure, and fast-moving consumer good sectors. Before joining Radisson Hotel Group, he was CEO of NH Hotel Group, where he led a major turnaround of the company. González was previously deputy general manager of Disneyland Paris and spent 16 years in senior management positions at Procter & Gamble in Brussels, Madrid and Stockholm before becoming the company’s country head of Portugal in 2000.
González majored in economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Master of International Trade and Finance from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
