El Segundo, Calif.-based Welcome Group of Hospitality has selected HP Hotels to manage the 104-room Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta/Marietta in Georgia. Opened in 2018, the hotel is 15 miles from Atlanta and close to from Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Lockheed Martin and Tesla.
The 104-room property has 1,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop terrace and an indoor pool. The guestrooms and suites have a mini-fridge, a 42-inch HDTV and a work desk with an ergonomic chair. Suites also have a microwave, a wet bar and a sofa bed. Public spaces include the Suite Shop for snacks and drinks, a 24-hour fitness center and an indoor pool.
“This is an excellent property with a great location in a thriving market," HP Hotels CEO Kerry Ranson said in a statement. "We’re looking forward to managing this asset for Yogesh Patel, Rajiv Goswami and Welcome Group of Hospitality, with whom we envision an outstanding partnership going forward."
HP Hotels now has seven hotels under management in the Atlanta area.
“This supports our strategy of market concentration, another great example being New Orleans, where we can support ownership with direct, in-market property support above the property level, intimately knowledgeable of a given market and able to respond quickly to changing competitive forces or issues with an individual property,” Ranson said.
