HP Hotels to manage a New Jersey La Quinta

HP Hotels, a full-service third-party hotel management company, was awarded the management contract for the 146-room La Quinta Inn & Suites in Runnemede, N.J. Charles Oswald, president and COO of HP Hotels, made the announcement.

The hotel, which is the first La Quinta Inn & Suites in HP Hotels’ portfolio, has been newly renovated. The hotel includes a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi Internet access. It is located between I-80 and Route 46, placing guests within reach of Philadelphia, Cherry Hill and Mt. Laurel. The area is also home to several nearby universities including Temple University, Villanova, University of Pennsylvania, St. Joseph's University and Drexel University.

“This hotel marks two significant milestones in the continuing growth and evolution of HP Hotels. It is both the first La Quinta Inn and Suites in our portfolio and represents our return to the northeastern United States,” Oswald said. “Our growth strategy going forward includes building on this platform to identify strategic opportunities that are now in front of us as a result.”

The hotel’s guestrooms include 39-inch flat screen TVs, a work desk, coffee maker, hairdryer and an iron with ironing board. The hotel has four room types.

HP Hotels is a third-party management group with a portfolio of over 30 hotels in 12 states comprised of Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental, Starwood, Choice and Independent full-service and select- service hotels.
