Menin Hospitality to manage the Shelborne South Beach

Menin Hospitality entered into an agreement to manage Shelborne South Beach in Miami. The hotel was originally constructed in 1940 and recently underwent a renovation valued in excess of $150 million. With 200 guestrooms, a full-service spa, as well as multiple leisure and entertainment venues, Shelborne is located in the heart of South Beach’s Art Deco District.

"We are extremely excited about the addition of the iconic Shelborne Hotel and all the added amenities this beachfront property will bring,” Keith Menin, managing principal of Menin Hospitality, said in a statement.

Located at the intersection of 18th Street and Collins Avenue, The Shelborne is also the home of Top Chef alums Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth’s most recent restaurant, The Sarsaparilla Club. Another venue on site is The Drawing Room Bar & Lounge, a classic cocktail venue.

The hotel has 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, which is designed to draw corporate events, charity fundraisers, weddings and more to Miami. Menin Hospitality will also bring its GUYandGIRL spa to the Shelborne South Beach.

As part of Menin Hospitality's growth strategy, Shelborne South Beach joins the company’s hotel portfolio that now totals nearly 1,000 guestrooms under management. Other Menin Hospitality hotels include The Gale, Kaskades, Bentley and Sanctuary in South Beach as well as the Rafaello Chicago. The group’s restaurant and nightlife portfolio includes Radio Bar, Bodega Taquería Y Tequila, Pizza Bar, Halves & Wholes, Picciolo, Ricky’s and Drumbar in Chicago, as well as Bakehouse, a French brasserie marketplace and café set to open later this year.
