Preferred Hotels adds 9 new properties

Preferred Hotels & Resorts added nine properties to its global portfolio in the first three months of 2023. The new hotels range from a modern chalet-style resort in the Austrian Alps to a 39-story skyscraper in New York City’s NoMad district.

The new additions are:

Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol in Telfs, Austria – Legend Collection 

Located in the Austrian Alps at 4,200 feet above sea level, Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol is a secluded chalet-style resort with 282 guestrooms and 32 suites. Rustic wood accents are accentuated with modern mountain lodge furnishings for a sense of place, while private balconies offer views overlooking nearby peaks and valleys. The property has seven dining options ranging from a restaurant to an alpine mountain hut as well as a spa with a pool, a Finnish sauna, infrared rooms, and steam and saltwater baths.

Virgin Hotels New York City – L.V.X. Collection 
Virgin Hotels New York City is the newest addition to the Virgin Hotels collection. With a contemporary design that blends the classic Virgin aesthetic with the dynamism of the city, the 39-story hotel has 460 guestrooms, suites and penthouses with floor-to-ceiling windows. Additional highlights include Everdene, a 4,000-square-foot dining and cocktail lounge with nightly music and entertainment; an outdoor Pool Club exclusive to hotel guests; and more than 19,000 square feet of meeting and event space. 

Marino Beach, Colombo, Sri Lanka - Connect Collection 
Located in Sri Lanka’s capital city, Hotel Marino Beach has a zero-edge, rooftop infinity pool with a terrace and garden. Many of the 289 guestrooms also have private balconies. Additional amenities include six restaurants and bars and an on-site spa. 

Hotel Villa Real, Madrid - L.V.X Collection 
Hotel Villa Real has 115 guestrooms and suites with traditional furnishings and marble-clad baths. Many also have private balconies or terraces with city views. The hotel also has an art and archeology collection with more than 100 pieces of ancient art on display throughout the hotel.
